About the Product
Celebrating Solids!
We celebrate starting solids with our FirstSpoon Learning Utensil. Designed to encourage their eating independence and build self confidence when baby is ready to scoop and explore their first flavors! Our flexible Stage 1 introductory spoon has several features to help them develop their feeding skills without the fuss.
Baby Led Weaning: Our introductory Stage One learning spoon is ideal for Ages 4 to 18 Months. The FirstSpoon is designed to easily scoop purees, soft and solid foods. The comfortable handle shape encourages babies to practice self feeding while the spoon shape and size is ideal for scooping. The all silicone design makes our FirstSpoon the perfect solution for teething while feeding.
Innovative Design: The FirstSpoon utilizes our Dual-Flex material technology. The spoon handle is a hard silicone and provides a stable and firm grip for little hands. The softer silicone spoon tip gently flexes and contours to all sizes of bowls and shallow wall divider plates and dishes. The spoon head has a unique open front shape that allows baby to slide the spoon across surfaces to easily pick up food.
Baby Feeding Stages: We believe that feeding should be flexible in more ways than one which is why we offer two types of learning Utensils. Our FlexiDip Learning Utensil (sold separately) is a first stage Dipping utensil while the FirstSpoon is a first stage self feeding spoon. Both can work great together as you introduce purees and soft foods while baby develops their scooping motion.
100% Platinum Silicone: We only use Premium grade silicone for our baby feeding products. Using a higher quality material ensures that the product is durable enough to withstand teething and repeated daily use. Our material does not harbor chemical odors and it can withstand high heat in the Dishwasher, Sterilizer and is Boil Safe.
Material Compliance: All ChooMee products are BPA, PVC, Lead and Phthalate Free. Products meet and exceed all US and European Test Standards. Unlike plastic products, silicone will not support the growth of fungus, mold, or bacteria.
